Congratulations to the CIS student team who won Best Student Game at the Boston Festival of Indie Games this fall! The winning project, Magic Moving Mansion Mania, is an iOS mobile game where the player unscrambles rooms to lead a little girl to safety. It was developed in CS/INFO 4152 by the following team of current Cornell students and recent alums: Andrew Jiang, Charisse Foo, Jiacong Xu, Kathryn Stinebruner, Nick Milner, and Yichen Jia.
The Boston Festival of Indie Games exhibits digital and table-top games that are hoping for a commercial release. Like a film festival, games are selected for exhibition via a competitive jury process. This year, four Cornell teams -- including Manic Moving Mansion Mania -- were chosen for exhibition.
