CSUG AccountsGame development in this course will take place in two labs: CL3 and the CSUG (Computer Science Undergraduate) Lab. CSUG is not run by CIT, and so you cannot access those machines via your netid. Instead, you will need to get a special CSUG account, which is provided to every student in CIS 300. Your accounts are created automatically and you can find in information about your account here: http://www.csuglab.cornell.edu/userinfo.htm. If you are in the class and do not yet have an account, please contact contact the instructor as soon as possible to create one. MSDNAA InformationThe Cornell CS department is a member of the MicroSoft Developer Network Academic Alliance (MSDNAA). Cornell affiliates with CS or CSUGLab accounts may be provided with a variety of Microsoft products (including Visual Studio 2005) to be used within the bounds of the MSDN EULA. You can find more information about the MSDNAA program at http://www.msdnaa.net. Once your account has been set up, you should be sent an e-mail regarding your MSDNAA account from E-Academy, who manages Cornell's access to MSDNAA. If you did not get an e-mail, you can try going to their website, which is linked from http://msdnaa.cs.cornell.edu. Go to LOG IN on the left and then the Login Help password reminder link on the right. Enter your Cornell e-mail address and click Go Find It. You should receive an e-mail with your password. You should then be able to log in and download software using your Cornell e-mail address as the username and the password you received as your password. |
