CIS 300: Introduction to Computer Game Design

Assignment 1
Group Charter

Due: Saturday, February 9th at 11:59pm

Your charter text file should specify the following:

A working name for your project
You are not committed to this as your final game name.
The name of your development team
This is just for fun. Pick something clever (and by clever, I mean not stupid)
A short (1 paragraph) description of your game
This is just a high-level overview
Your project leader
This person is ultimately responsible for all aspects of the project. They will organize the group and its tasks, make sure everything is on schedule, be the final word on all design decisions, and be in frequent communication with the course staff.
Your lead programmer
This person will be responsible for the code architecture of the game, assigning programming tasks, making sure modules are incorporated properly, and will be the final word on all technical decisions. It should not be the same as your project leader.
The members of the development team and their contact information
At a minimum list the emails of your group members, but phone numbers and IM names are very helpful too.
The development roles (responsibilities) of each group member
Be as specific as possible. If you know someone will be creating the level editor, list that rather than just "programmer".
Your weekly outside of class meeting time and place.
This is the final time and place - you are committed to this for the semester. The staff prefers times before 8pm, and close to central campus - we will be able to attend and help you more often that way.

Due Saturday, February 9th at 11:59pm through CMS. Submit a file called charter.txt.
