CIS 3000: Introduction to Computer Game Design

Exams

There will be several short in-class exams over the course of the semester. The purpose of the exams is to make sure that you are following the material, and understand the high-level design principles.

Because of the interdisciplinary nature of the course, none of these exams will be technical in a computer science sense. There will be no algorithms or mathematics. Nothing on the exams will require a prerequisite from another class. Instead, they will be a collection of short answer questions at roughly the same level as your textbook.

The exams will be held in-class as part of your communication labs. They are designed to be completed in 20-30 minutes, so that you can spend the rest of the lab on your documents. There are three exams this semester; approximately once a month.

Please refer to the table below for the specific exam times. In addition, we will post review questions before each exam to help you study for the material.
