Each year, a faculty committee selects one student whose academic star is on the rise, and acknowledges them in the BOOM Student Spotlight. This year's Student Spotlight honors Tyler Steele (Computer Science, BS '08). The Spotlight celebrates a student's scholarly achievements with a poster detailing their research and impact both within and outside of CIS, including accolades from CIS faculty and the Chair of the Computer Science Department.
